Day Five: No Loss is Too Devastating

2 Corinthians 1:2-4; Psalm 34:18

HIM: Praise God that He is Jehovah Shammah, the Lord is There. Thank God He is our comfort in our time of mourning and loss.

THEM: Pray for the people in our city who have endured loss. We can experience devastation and heart break when we lose a house, a job, when we lose someone to death or even a relationship with someone. Pray for the people who may be harboring anger towards God because of a loss.
Pray that they can begin to see God as an ally and not an enemy.

US: City Impact Youth Ministry: For guidance and direction in this area that the Lord would lead us in creating and partnering with programs to impact the youth of this city.
Pray for a revival among the youth of Reading and an outpouring of God’s spirit on this generation.

YOU: Are you holding onto any anger or bitterness toward God because of a loss you suffered? Are you holding onto unforgiveness to someone who hurt you when they ended a relationship with you? Are you turning to God in your time of loss and heartbreak? Are you willing to be there to comfort others in their time of loss as the Lord has comforted you in yours?

HIM: Praise God for the testimony you have for the times of loss that you have endured that you can be there to help comfort others in their time of need.
