Philippians 4:10-14
HIM: Praise God that he is Jehovah-Jireh, your Provider. Thank Him for His favor and blessing in your life.
THEM: Ask God to bring the poor and needy to our doors. Pray that God would open their eyes to see beyond their physical need to their spiritual need and that we would be able to provide for both.
US:
Pray for Pastor CJ as he leads Living Word Fellowship that the Lord would lead and provide for him as he steps out in faith raising support to transition into full-time pastoring.
Pray for wisdom, revelation of the Word of God, and endurance.
Pray that he can give his family the time and attention that it needs and not get distracted by work and ministry, and for more anointing to be better priest, prophet and king of what the Lord has called him to.
YOU: Do you really trust God to take care of your needs? Are you thanking Him for the blessings He has provided for? Are you giving even in your time of need? Ask the Lord to reveal an aspect of finances that you may not have completely trusted Him with.
HIM: Praise God that no need is too big for Him.
It's a little easier to encourage others to step out in faith then it is to do it yourself..
ReplyDeleteIts so funny because I got distracted while I was reading this by checking my bank account. Then asking the Lord how I'm supposed to do all the things I feel I'm supposed to with the little that's in there. I tithed double one month this year to challenge myself to trust in God with the things that were coming up. Finances are such a scary issue but we also have to trust what God is calling us to put the hand to the plow and keep moving forward and trust that He will make it all work out in the end. Nothing is too hard for God!!
